What is Cold Plasma?
Cold plasma, also known as non-thermal plasma, operates at low temperatures (typically below 100°C), making it suitable for treating heat-sensitive materials. It is widely used for surface modifications, sterilization, and biomedical applications. Unlike thermal plasmas, cold plasma provides high-energy electrons without significantly heating the bulk gas, allowing for gentle yet effective treatments.
